It has been 2 weeks and my wife loves it. We have the tarragon green, very nice color. Tare feature is great and the product looks like good quality. We will see after 6 months.

With nearly 700 reviews already written for this product it seems unlikely anyone will read mine...but maybe some Cub Scouter will come across it and find it useful.

First, cooking: This scale is accurate, easy to clean, and doesn't take up much space. Many of the recipes I make come with measurements in weights for accuracy (Cooks Illustrated often provides weights for ingredients) and this scale takes the guesswork out of measuring. For example, if a recipe calls for 1 cup of flour how do you get that one cup? Do you scoop it out with a 1 cup measure or do you spoon the flour into the measuring cup? The first way will pack the flour into the cup so you end up with more. Depending on the recipe, extra flour could affect the outcome.

Second, eating: I try to watch what I eat so when I take snacks to work (like almonds) I'll get a large package and weigh out portions to get the right portion size. The metric setting is useful here. Serving size is often given in grams - this scale saves me from doing the conversion myself.

Third, Pinewood Derby. Most Cub Scout packs are very serious about enforcing derby rules. Our pack isn't one of those crazy competitive ones but we are strict about the maximum 5 ounce rule. This scale measures out to the 5/100th of an ounce which gives us great accuracy in weighing the boys' cars (I take my scale to our build day and race day). I've seen this scale in scout shops for twice the price, so if your pack needs a scale or two, this is the one to get.

This bedding set is very soft and almost silky; it is very good quality compared to the typical character bedding, which can be scratchy. The colors and designs are great! The fitted sheet is slightly big on our standard crib sheet mattress, but nothing major. The blanket really is like a light-weight quilt almost; it is thicker than a standard kid's bedspread. This set is great for the price!

This was the perfect addition to my 3 year old daughter's "Tangled" room. It's bright, warm and very soft. Previously I had purchased a Dora room set from Walmart and was let down by how quickly the set faded and how thin the comforter was. I have washed the Rapunzel set several times and no sign of fading. Goes great with the Tangled wall stickers to complete the look. Very pleased and so is my daughter, who now feels like a real princess.

We use bum genius (Love!)cloth diapers most of the time but fill in with Nature Babycare when traveling and sometimes overnight. The sizes on the Nature Babycare are not accurate. My baby is 11 lbs and we are using the size 2 already. Also if you don't change the diaper right away they leak like crazy out the leg openings. I was using these for convenience, but with all the clothing changes and fit problems, the cloth diapers are much better! They are a lot better for the environment than standard disposables though!

I already commented in detail on another review by "Meghan." So here I'll just say that these diapers really work well for my little guy. I dropped a star because I do think they are on the smaller side. But even with that, my 9 week old, 15 lb, 24 inch baby is still happily in the Stage/Level 1 diapers. No leakage, no blow-outs, and hopefully no jinxes now! ;) I will be switching to Stage/Level 2 in about a week.

I love this diaper. We switched to this kind after getting sick of the leaking G Diapers. I agree that these do sometimes leak at night, but I think that is more due to the smaller sizing. My son is 14 lbs and I think already too big for the size 2 diapers. They are hard to wrap around his fat little legs and are starting to rub a little where there is gap on the sides under the tab. I think this problem would be solved with a larger size. Otherwise, I find them very absorbent - just as good as other non-disposables. I was pretty surprised.

I like to swim laps and listening to music makes it a whole lot more enjoyable. Unfortunately, when it comes to waterproof headphones, I've yet to find a pair that sounds good and lasts.

I've had 3 pairs of these headphones. After using the first for about two months of swimming laps the right ear bud just died. No sound at all. Whatever, maybe I just had a defective pair. So I return them to Amazon and get a replacement set. After about the same amount usage the exact same thing happens in the right ear bud. Nothing happened to them, it just shorted out while I was swimming laps never to come back again. As far as waterproof headphones go, these were very comfortable and had pretty good quality for the short time that they worked.

I have a third pair of these now that I think are on the verge of dying. Same problem, right ear bud. I'm hoping that some company comes out with a good pair of waterproof headphones soon because I love swimming but I'm sick of these things crapping out on me.

I am a long time user of H2O Audio products. My wife and I use Flex headphones for running and gym use. They are waterproof, sweatproof and weatherproof. They won't short out due to rain or moisture. I saw some other reviews about swimming with these. Yeah, they're waterproof, but for heavy duty swimming and in water use, I use their Interval solution or Surge 2G headphones. Those products are better designed for underwater use. In my view, Flex is great as an entry level waterproof headphone best for running in the rain, sweat and gym use.

I got these headphones for running and from the beginning they didn't sound quite right, but after a few times taking them out and putting them back into the iphone everything was fine. Once in a while I lost sound in the left earbud but I was able to make it work. Now, after only 2 weeks that this product is in my possession, the left earbud has completely stopped functioning. I thought perhaps this was an iphone malfunction or a bug with the running app I was using, but I've tested the headphones with my laptop, another mp3 player, and the problem persists.
In total I was very disappointed that these headphones stopped working so soon after arrival, and I consider the 20$ i spent on them to have been a waste. Now I will probably spend more money on a better pair and buy them at a local store so that if they malfunction so soon after purchase it won't be such a hassle to return them.

When I first bought the battery I was excited to see it had brought my laptop c510 latitude back to life. However it would only last one to two hours before it needed to be charged again! I was only able to use my laptop about five times since I got it and last night I got a "very low battery" message and then my laptop turned off. I charged it several hours last night and this morning the laptop would not turn on! : (
I'm returning the battery today and am hoping to find one that will last me a long time. Good luck out there.

Purchased this to replace a WDC 120GB HDD in a Dell Vostro 1520 laptop. We are by no means heavy users, as the laptop is for Internet surfing, photo-viewing and editing, so the raw speed was hardly a concern to us. After the upgrade, again, we don't notice much difference in the way of disk speed. However, we do notice that the the laptop is now noticeably quieter. SO, along with four times the disk space, the extra quietness is definitely a bonus.

We just purchased the Stokke Care 2010 Walnut changing table from amazon's sister site diapers. Note that there are 2 versions of the Stokke Care - the new 2010 model and the old one. This fact is NOT mentioned anywhere on stokke or on the other sites. The newer 2010 model has the baskets for storage and does NOT come with wheels. The older model has lockable wheels, however does not come with the baskets. I think the older model was discontinued due to the risks involved with wheels.
Here are our observations:
The changing table itself is very sturdy and heavy! You will most likely need 2 people to assemble - the second person mainly to hold the shelves or the frame/sides. The assembly itself could not be easier - just 8 or so steps in a pictorial manual on 1 page. No written instructions needed. A little bit of common sense is helpful as the instructions are not very detailed.
It has a pretty good height overall and the changing shelf can be adjusted to two different heights. The topmost setting is almost too high for most people (unless you are over 6 feet tall). Everything is solid wood - no veneers on this one!
The curved sides and the bars have no sharp edges at all and match the Stokke crib. The screw sets are walnut brown in color (only 1 choice), so if you choose a lighter color such as cherry, natural or white, the screws will stand out!
I liked the fact that there were no harsh chemicals used for the varnish or paint and everything is non-toxic. It is true hardwood not like most tables that have a veneer or are MDF/particleboard.
pros:
- comes with a custom pad (what Stokke calls a mattress, however it is not as thick as a mattress, more like a changing pad)
- like the fact that it has no wheels so no risk of having the table run away if you don't happen to lock it before lifting the baby when changing. This must be the reason why they don't even offer the option of wheels. You will definitely need 2 people to move the table after assembly.
- has plastic protectors on the bottom for wood floors
- large storage baskets
- can change the baby while facing you (unique stokke feature)
- has restraint belts
- has towel bars and good side storage to store or hang stuff
- can convert easily to a student deks - perfect for future use and contemporary style

cons
- there aren't any screw holes for the restraints - have to use a philips or other screwdriver to drill the screw in if you want to use the restraint system. Stokke - please pre-drill holes for this the next time on the stokke changing shelf.
- had a small dent on the 2 shelves when I received it - had to call Stokke to get them replaced. It took 7 photograps for them to recognize this and send the replacement out via ground shipment. Diapers on the other hand shipped the changing table to us 2-day fedex air and was instant.
- 4 screws and washers were missing! Need these to attach the towel bars. Have called them again to send it via snail mail. Stokke - please have a quality analyst check these things - it is unacceptable to pay this amount and have missing screws! [Updated - I received the wrong replacement screws and only 3 of them! I called again and they are sending me a complete screw bag. Please check the screws and qty before you start the assembly to avoid disappointment]
- the changing pad (or mattress) does NOT come with a cover - need to get a separate Stokke terry cover, costs extra! Stokke should include this with the pad
- the wood does have a lot of grains on them, the pictures on the web do NOT show this, not sure if this is only with the walnut color or if the others also have the same pattern. I think maple wood would be a better choice, but then it would increase the cost.

overall, a very good buy inspite of the minor issues with the damage.

This is, by far, the BEST changing table on the market. My back says "THANK YOU" to Stokke for this fantastic changing table every single time I change my baby. Here are the highlights:

1) Adjustable, ergonomic changing table. You have the ability to adjust this table to 2 settings, both of which are ergonomically correct and will save you from having to hunch over every diaper change. My husband and I are both very happy with this feature.

2) The baby faces you! Why haven't other companies caught on to this important idea? Babies love eye contact. And yet, standard changing tables are set up sideways-- which makes each diaper change harder and puts your face away from the baby. With the Stokke changing table, you are looking directly at your baby the whole time-- it allows for entertaining the baby and makes the diaper changes faster and easier.

3) It is SUPER versatile. When your baby outgrows diapers, you can easily adjust this into cute desk for their bedroom. I love the idea of furniture that grows with my child, and doesn't end up at a garage sale or landfill.

3) Lots of storage, a large changing pad for comfort, and extra bins on both sides so diapers and creams are handy. Also-- it is made of high quality wood, is SUPER sturdy, and eco-friendly.

You will not be sorry-- this is a GREAT product.

I am only giving it 4 stars because of the low harness height. The Height for the Top Slot is only 16 inches, and alot of carseats are 17-18.5. That is a drawback for those with kids with long torsos. I really think Carseat Manufacturers should advertise Harness Height.

It looks comfy and 2 year old didn't complain,the armrests are ok, they do lift up. The crotch straps are adjustable, and the recline is OK, although it cannot be reclined for a kid over 40 #. Overall, kids WILL outgrow this seat be height before weight, and that is a drawback, but if it extens harness time for MOST kids, that is awesome.

My 3 yr old uses it with the harness straps since he is not big enough yet for the booster seat but whether using the seat with the harness or using in the booster seat phase, it is a very nice, durable, easy to use seat and the last seat you will have to buy.

StorkSak Gigi Diaper Bag Review by VA Mom

I purchased the Gigi three years ago. I have used it as my only diaper bag as well as briefcase ever since. I have two children (now 3 � and 18 mos) and work full time. I use the bag every day. It has also worked well on a number of cross-country vacations. It large but not monstrous. It is pretty lightweight empty. I pack it with a *lot* of stuff--papers, wallet, phone, diapers, wipes, sippy cups, makeup, etc., etc., so it gets pretty heavy. It stands up to this though. It doesn't tip and the internal organization is very good--one large main center compartment, two large side compartments, all with plenty of pockets, so my stuff doesn't end up in a big black hole. My only problem has been identifying which side compartment is the one I want. The only thing differentiating the sides is the storksak logo on one of them. For three years, I've been thinking I could easily solve this by tying or attaching something to one of the zippers. But I never got around to doing it. I haven't treated my bag with a great deal of care. After three years the bottom corners are beaten up and one of the straps is starting to come unbuckled. Structurally it has worn very well. I've had no zipper problems. Occasional washing with dishwashing liquid gets rid of stains on the exterior. I am now looking for a new diaper bag and interested in something different only for variety's sake. I think I'll check out other Storksak bags. I definitely got my money out of this one.

Another plus is this color/design looks stylish and not SO obvious it is a diaper bag. Price is a little extreme, but I believe this bag will last many years if used appropriately. My 4 yr old had a Britax and he passed it on to his baby brother. He loves his new seat! 2 cup holders, a big boy seat belt and he says it's comfy. Seat looks big so it should last him a while. I have not tried the travel bag but it is nice that it came with it. Very easy to install. The latch system is great because it keeps the seat nice and tight! It also has a great red color! Very happy with it!! :o)

This is a great chair my son loves it!! It is very easy to install and adjust and if it is used in a reclining seat this chair can also recline. My son loves the cup holders as well. The chair is very comfy and I feel very at ease knowing my son is safe in this chair with all the points (from head to pelvis) of side crash impacts!Also with the belt guide at the lap area that helps keep the seat belt on the lap instead of riding up on the belly (very dangerous!!) like alot of other boosters using car seat belts do! The upgrade from car seat to booster seat couldn't have gone better without this booster seat. My son loves that he's in a booster (big boy) seat using the grownup seatbelt, and I love that it's sturdy, and will help to protect him in case of a car accident. It also has the latch system to keep the booster in place, so it doesn't become a harmful object if involved in an accident without your child in the seat. The colors looks great, we got the red and black one. The bag is a convince if your ever traveling. The back of the booster comes off too, in case you wanted/needed only the seat. The 2 cup holders are a convince for the child, for drinks or snacks. Just be careful what they try to hide in them, since they fold into the booster seat. The only improvements could be the arm rest, they are kinda short, and won't adjust, as your child gets older. Also the weight is about the same as a car seat, so it's not light like most booster seats. Overall a great booster seat, that will last a lot longer than most boosters, since it can accommodate up to 6' 3".

One warning for parents is to just go over the basic rules when transitioning to any booster seat. Such as NEVER unbuckle the car seat until being told to, or when the car is parked and turned off. Also not to lean all the way forward, pull the seat belt all the way out (otherwise the seatbelt won't be able to do its job to protect the child if involved in an accident). Make sure to check that the seatbelt is actually buckled in after the child buckles themselves, sometimes they think they are buckled when they really aren't, which is something you cannot fix of course after an accident occurs. Of course just remind them that the booster and seatbelt is there to protect them, kids usually don't realize this is about safety, and not about the cool colors or the 2 cup holders they can use. I also had to remind my son a few times that the seatbelt goes over your shoulder, crosses his body to the other side where the seatbelt buckles, and that the lap part of the seatbelt should be on his lap, nowhere else, especially shouldn't be pulled on. Kids just need that reminder so they don't play with the seatbelt. In the booklet it does state if you have a car that has the automatic seatbelt (such as the ones that are located above the window, and move so you can get out when the door is open), that this car seat should not be used with those seatbelts(just a little FYI before you spend money on this). One other thing I must add is that while this is more pricey than most booster seats, it is well worth the money for your child's safety.
